How to Get USDC on Polygon
HyperPool runs on Polygon, and we only accept USDC. That means if your funds are still on Ethereum (or another chain), you’ll need to bridge them over. Below are step‑by‑step instructions for all major wallets and bridges.
Prerequisites
- USDC on Ethereum
- ETH for gas – ~$10–15 (Ethereum)
- MATIC for gas – a small amount on Polygon
MetaMask
- Open MetaMask and switch to Ethereum.
- Click “Bridge” (or visit the Polygon Bridge).
- From: Ethereum/USDC → To: Polygon/USDC, enter amount.
- Review gas, submit, and wait for confirmation.
- Switch MetaMask to Polygon to see your USDC.
Phantom Wallet
- Open Phantom and tap the Swap (🔁) tab.
- Select Ethereum/USDC → Polygon/USDC.
- Pick “Best Return” or “Fastest,” review, and confirm.
- Track it in your Activity (⚡) tab.
Coinbase Wallet
- Tap the Bridge icon in Coinbase Wallet.
- Set From: Ethereum → To: Polygon, pick USDC on both ends.
- Enter amount, confirm, and wait for it to land on Polygon.
WalletConnect (Mobile)
- Open your browser to the Polygon Bridge.
- Connect via WalletConnect, scan the QR code with your mobile wallet.
- From: Ethereum/USDC → To: Polygon/USDC, approve, and track.
Injected Wallets (Desktop)
- Visit the Polygon Bridge in your browser.
- Your injected wallet (MetaMask, Rabby, etc.) will connect automatically.
- Bridge Ethereum/USDC → Polygon/USDC and approve the popup.
Alternative Bridges
- Hop Protocol – very fast (~5 min average)
- Across Protocol – lower gas fees
- Synapse – supports many chains
Timing & Fees
5–30 min total (depending on congestion), $6–20 in total fees.
Troubleshooting
- USDC not showing? Add this token contract to Polygon:

- Tx stuck? Check gas price or wait out the network.
- Wrong network? Ensure you’re bridging from Ethereum → Polygon.
